The Festool OF-FH, Plexiglas Template (routing aid).

The routing aid attaches to the router's base to be used as a guide for routing mortises, slots and grooves.

Made out of thick acrylic, the OF-FH fits the OF1010, OF1400 and OF2000 routers with included hardware. The two adjustable edge guides hold the router in line to make perfectly straight cuts. Maximum width, 4-5/8" (117 mm).

You can see in this photo the center lines on the OF-FH.

Two built in scales read from the center line out, this allow you to set the distance from the center of the bit, making setup easy.

The dust port fits the D27 and D36 hoses. Note in this picture the OF1010 is mounted, the 1010 has its own dust port that would be better to use.

Here is a shot of the 1010 routing a mortise in the edge of a door stile for my Interior Door. You can see the OF-FH in action in that project.

This jig makes routing mortises for doors, table legs and other furniture easier and more accurate. Also, can be used to rout door latches, strike plates, recessed locks and other hardware. This is one of my new favorite accessories.
