A look at the OF 1010 EQ. Festool's little router that is big on features.

Here's a peek inside the systainer.

What's inside: OF1010 router, plug-it cord, PC stlye guide bushing adaptor, chip catcher, guide rail attachment, edge guide, collet wrench, 1/4" collet, 8mm collet, and manual in a systainer # 3. Edge guide no longer included with the set, it is now sold as an accessory.

Some of the specs. 1010 watts/8.5 amp, 1.4 hp; depth adjustment range: 55mm (2-3/16"), Fine depth adjustment range: 8mm (5/16"), three adjustable depth turret stops, electronic controlled motor with soft start, constant speed under load, stepless speed adjustment and thermal overload protection and around six lbs. (2.7kg).

The 1010 has fine depth adjustment in .1 mm increments, that is approximately 1/256 of an inch!

The turret has three adjustable stops, use a sloted screwdriver to adjust the stops.
|
|
The removable (with screwdriver)chip catcher does a very good job collecting the dust from edge routing.

The chip catcher swivels to stay where it's needed.

One of the nice things about the "Ten Ten" is the fact that it comes with the edge gudie and the guide rail attachment. Shown here is the edge guide.
