First fold down the legs......

.....thighten the four knobs.

The rail hinge bracket goes on the rear and the support bracket on the front, sliding them all the over to the stops in the frame profile.

Slide the rail on to the hinge bracket and tighten the two bolts, using the allen key on the angle unit.
|
|
This picture shows the two bolts to be tightened.

|
The rail deflector goes on at this time.
|
|
Attach the angle unit to the fence rail, slide it into the end of the fence profile.
|
|
Set the angle 1 1/2" from the end of fence rail, tighten the bolts shown here.

With the angle unit and fence together, place the unit in the rear set of holes, in the forth and fifth holes from the right.
|
|
From below the table secure the angle/fence unit with knobs.
|
|
Check the fence and rail of square, the fence can be calibrated by lossening the bolt (red arrow)on the angle unit and adjusting the fence.

Slide the fence rail clamp into the frame profile, insert the clamp's rib in the back of the fence and tighten knob.
|
|
To adjust for workpiece thickness, first unlock both the hinge and support brackets.
|
|
Lift the rail to the height needed and lock brackets.
|
|
To adjust the angle of the fence, with the guide rail up out of the way, lossen the knob on the fence rail clamp and pull up the detent pin on the angle unit, swing the fence to your angle. Release the detent pin and tighten knob on the fence rail clamp.

After the initial setup, the MFT can be taken down for transport and resetup very easily.
